ABOUT
The Run For The Diamonds is an annual Thanksgiving Day 9-mile road race which takes place in Berwick, Pennsylvania, United States. The race started in 1908 and has only been cancelled two years, 1918 & 1919.

2023 Run for the Diamonds Recap
Congratulations to all finishers!

Cole Frank, Philadelphia, pulled away from Dylan Gearinger, Scranton, to take home the First Place Diamond Ring. Dylan stayed strong and finished second in 45:05. Dylan, a Berwick High School/Haverford College graduate ran the fastest time of any Berwick HS/Wyoming Valley League/District II runner in the history of the event!

Zoe Matherne, Philadelphia, won for the second time. Zoe easily outdistanced the women's field, winning by over two minutes.
​
Dianna Golden, Frankford, DE, added to her 60-69 age group record. She toured the course in 73:22 breaking the 70-79 record by over 16 minutes!
​
Frank McDonald broke his own Local 80+over record by over 4 minutes; running a time of 1:49:16.
​
Joining the 35+ Club were Gabe Scala and Ben Laurenson.
35+ Club member, Bill Bull, finished his 50th Diamonds race.
